    Half to Done

I’m doing a house keeping recently. After a few year of diy, I found that a lot of thing I build is half done or near to complete but still not completed. I have build the pawo with the Fe127 last year, early 2008. The sound stage of this loudspeaker is very good comparing to all the small size speaker I heard so far. It have been sitting at my workroom naked with out cloth and shoe. So, I think it is time to tailor a nice cloth and  shoe for her.

    Cloth

I have do some survey on wood veneer, I seem that it widely use for a kitchen cabinet here, 8 feet x 4 feet .As usual, I’ll look for something more affordable. I found some wall paper, it look nice but the printed pattern is not suitable for speaker box. Later I found the table mat, the texture look good and it only cost USD$5 per meter. So I order 2 meter and it should be enough to tailor the cloth for my loudspeaker.

    Shoe

The center line of the loudspeaker look like a bit lower then my sitting position. So I think it should be lifted up a bit. The loudspeaker will look more complete with a shoe, isn’t?

    Glue

I’m using the milk color plywood glue, I start to like it. It is easier to use and apply to the surface. The only con for this glue is, it need longer to dry.  The pros is, because it dry slower, you will have plenty of time to adjust it.

    Ongoing

I started the work on last Sunday. It take a week to complete the sticking process. The milky glue seem not so strong at the corner, so I still need to do some touch up using dunlop glue. Finally it’s done  ^___^.
